Kenya again!!

For us a very slow start as we are 25 k outside  Nairobi and a little cut off. However always intrepid  we met a new friend Bernard who took us on a wonderful walk near a man made lake where we saw many birds. It was absolutely beautiful ! Although rather remote this is the most beautiful hotel. It’s name is Sovereign suites and is run by the Sun Africa group of hotels.

Ospreys

We had a great time in Scotland and one of the highlights of the trips was watching a family of ospreys with two youngsters  learning all the tricks of the trade. What an amazing experience and some great pictures.

Water Voles on top!

Even though the water levels are very high the water voles in Arundel are doing very well with very little wind they were having a very good time. Ducks and swans were making the most of all the summer visitors and cashing in on a free meal.

Raty the water vole very relaxed !

Tuesday in the sun!

There is a lot of work going on at the Cathedral at the moment but our young peregrine was still their and taking a little nap. They have rope and tackle up to the cathedrals spire but it seems to make little difference to the afternoon siesta. All peregrines are still coming in to roost in the evening. They are also still fed by mum and dad.
